Puzzle game procrastinator!
A spurned lover sacrifices his life that others might live. A brave young man dies in a desperate attempt to save his beautiful love. The Huron warrior who kills him had been reduced to savagery by the slaughter of his family by the British and their followers. His only hope for salvation is to start a new family with the the young woman, but she chooses to join her lover in eternity, rather than submit to the Huron. Her sister witnesses her suicide. The father of the dead brave, and Hawkeye, his adoptive brother, have arrived too late to save him and the girl. The father exacts a brutal revenge for the loss of his son ...

This scene takes place in a fantastic mountain top location, accompanied by haunting music.

The Last of the Mohicans ...

Apollo 13 (when they reemerge from radio silence, and on a good day when Gene Kranz says "we've never lost an American in space and we're not starting now, not on my watch")
Sound of Music (multiple places but especially where the Captain hugs the children for the first time)

Can't remember the name of the film... but Tim Roth's character is drawing his last breaths whilst being comforted by Harvey Keitel, then Roth admits he's a cop ... beautiful

Daddy, my daddy.

I'm not a crier at films but I think you'd have to be dead or sociopathic not to go at that bit.

It's Reservoir Dogs, the title of which is based on a mis-hearing of a film mentioned earlier, Au Revoir Les Enfants.
