Is it too late for a New Years Resolution?

Just make an early one!

I have been toying with the idea of learning Spanish for years; now, having met some very decent Argentinians, I'm toying with the idea of cycling in/around Argentina after doing a N W USA - S E USA in two years time (when I'm 50).
So finger out and enrol.

I'd like to say I speak Chinese after being out here for quite a long time but alas that's not the case. I do however get by on phrases etc. and even that makes the locals happy to some extent. Perhaps I should try the girlfriend technique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
