Penny dropped. ^_^
they fit to the handle bar with a rubber O ring. very easy to fit, and remove.
The biggest problem is the cable and battery size you will need some where to put the battery, I put mine in the saddle bag and wrap the cable around the top tube, not elegant but it works.
A top tube bag just behind the stem would be better.
Thank you. Sounds easy and my saddle bag should accommodate it easily. For that price I don't mind a few wires.

This is how I did it. Mounted underneath the bars, then run the cable along the top tube. The connector (between batt and light) sits halfway along and the cable is attached loosely to the top tube. Nice and easy to unplug battery when bike goes to the shed for a sleep. Battery is mounted on the seat tube ....

I can do that .... I quite like carrots ^_^
Well, if you eat enough carrots, you shouldn't need a bike light.

In seriousness, I have one of the Chinese Cree t6 jobbies. Works a treat. I mostly only use it for a particular section of my route, an unlit pot holed road and it illuminates the road perfectly. It cost about £20.

Thanks Kies, looks simple enough to fit and a decent photo too!
