Hi there, I've been cycling for a few months and wonder what's the best front cycle light you can get? The one I have is either steady or flashes but it won't throw out a lot of light on unlit roads. Any advice would be appreciated.
P.s. I would prefer something mid priced in case if don't keep at it

@potsy is correct, but it's out of everyone's range, and to be honest, if you read MTB light shoot out reviews, and forums, even they are coming round to the cheap stuff. Lots of changes you can make.

Please be aware some of these lights are no good for road use, unless you run them low and point at the road when there is traffic. They kick a serious punch and the light isn't cut off like a car.

Off road they are the dogs danglies.

I have a few of these lights, but run two Hope Vision 1 lights on road, at level 2. Had them 4 years no issues at all. Not cheap, but my commuter lights have to be reliable.

Any. Go look at the T6 light thread in the bike bits part of the forum. It's the batteries that are the worse part. The lights all seem great. Can't do a link on the ipoo. But search T6 lights.

Thanks, did it take a while to arrive? If so it might be too dark to be going out anyway :cold:

Great link, thanks. I've been looking for some lights for a couple of weeks and this will be ordered tomorrow. Just one question, how did you manage to secure the front light to your bike please? Am I going to have to get the husband's toolkit out? No pun intended

Penny dropped. ^_^
they fit to the handle bar with a rubber O ring. very easy to fit, and remove.
The biggest problem is the cable and battery size you will need some where to put the battery, I put mine in the saddle bag and wrap the cable around the top tube, not elegant but it works.
A top tube bag just behind the stem would be better.
