Yep that's been done. Thankfully it came out ok. That would have severely p'd me off!

Nope hoods are scuffed and one of the brake levers has lost some paint. Some scuffing on the saddle too but the frame looks to have come out of it ok.

Don't miss out any injuries - 75% of the bunce for my off was for the rib! (But then the bike was pretty cr*p so I didn't get much for that)

It hasn't needed cleaning until now cos it hasn't been out in the rain or anything.

You didn't take it to Sidcup cycles did you Martin? I took the Thorn there after a crash a couple of years ago for a crash assessment. It got the all clear apart from the front wheel. I cleaned it a couple of weeks later and found cracks on the front fork which they'd missed.

No Welling Cycles. I've just thought I should ask him to specifically check the fork before he gives it back. I'll be getting a full report from him (plus the old crank) as evidence.
