Also bought the Triban and loving it too! Found it quite weird that I have made pretty much the same upgrades as you...new stem, tyres (the same), chainstay protector and wedge!!! That can looks pretty good for holding stuff too, where did you get it??? Sorry to nab your ideas but I doubt the bikes will ever be seen together so I can get away with stealing your inspiration!!!

SPOOKY!

I thought I was the only person in the UK with a triban 3 ;)

If you fancy meeting up halfway it would only be a couple of hundred miles each! ^_^

I found the 'BBB' Tool Can on Amazon I think?
It carries (at the moment) a scrunched up Yellow Waterproof and 4, 5, and 6mm Allen keys.

Decathlon do a similar ''B'Twin' job for a couple of quid less (about £6.00) but smaller and not quite so useful IMO.. If you are going to have one-I think a decent size is the way to go. There is a bit of choice and they seem a good idea for what they are.

Tyres by the way, are Vittoria Rubino Pro folders.

I know you've seen it all before guys...but as a beginner in the world of regular road-biking I can't tell you how pleased I've been with this for such minimal outlay.
I 've just put some new tyres on and taken her out for a spin....apart from that that...I'm pleased that the carradice wedge and 'tool can' hold everything I need for a good day out...pump, waterproofs, lock-chain, tube, multi-tool, lights etc. without having to pile every thing on my back. I love this bike!!

Hi Darren.....

Never gave this a thought actually...............I trained as a fine-art photographer....not my main career, though.......and these are just hasty snaps grouped as a collage using Googles 'Picasa' image storage and enhancing programme-which I heartily recommend to 'casual' photographers..........uploaded to 'Photobucket' where you can simply redirect them to any message board of your choice. Simples
