I too have one that measures in bushels.
You both think I am joking, I'm going out for a ride & when I get back I'll post an imageMine is left handed.
+1 for bahco for holding tool for non external bearing bottom bracket removal. Quality item. Most adjustables have the dreaded jaw wobble. If working on older bikes then a big adjustable (Bahco) and a headset spanner are needed and thin cone spanners.
Must admit I rarely use gloves. Either hamper my feel or they tear. Prefer to coat hands in acqueous cream, do the dirty business, wash, often shower after bike fettling which ensures hands are well cleaned.Rubber gloves - dermatitis is no fun.
.
good suggestion. what do you use to protect your hands while you are generating the sawdust?A tub of sawdust to mix with washing up liquid to get your hands clean after fettling.
Finding the once-ubiquitous wire coathanger to fashion one of these was far more difficult than I thought it would be!Bent piece if wire to hold the ends of a
split chain, makes installing the new link sooooo much easier.
