I have recently switched to wholemeal barms/baps (due to a problem with my top teeth) and they are very nice.
Bacon....... I buy medallions from Aldi (I don't like fat).
Butter.
Brown sauce, none of your namby pamby red sauce.
No bacon on Christmas morning here, I do some Wholemeal toast allowed to cool then cut into 4 triangles buttered then spread with Philadelphia and a piece of smoked Salmon with a couple of Capers on top
The farm shop at Tebay does a lovely treacle-cured bacon. One of the few advantages of SWMBO working in Liverpool during the week and having our main home near Glasgow.
