Nice thick white bread, good quality dry cured smoled bacon (grilled until slightly crispy) and about half an inch of Hellmann's full fat mayonnaise. Delicious, and the One True Way to eat bacon butties.

I didn't know this until today, but apparently the French bit on the label (which they haven't done for a good few years now) was only a bit of marketing, to give it an air of sophistication. Ah Uncle Mort that takes me back to the gardening course that I did at Leatherhead where a friend from Sheffield used to bring me down a bottle whenever he went home. Wonderful stuff and yes your right it would flavour a bacon buttie perfectly so I second adding it to the pollUncle Mort said:I forgot about tabasco.
