I didn't think that still existed, oh well you learn something everyday; I hope she's on the mend soon.

I got it last winter in late Nov - it lasted for blooming ages. I remember being weak until the Xmas holidays. I can confirm that it is very painful and debilitating. I hope she gets it over it soon. Apparently the viral version is more common and antibiotics will not touch it.

Aye we are pretty sure that it is the viral version. We won't know for sure if it is pleurisy until tomorrow when she visits the doc, but the symptoms are spot on. Fevers, tiredness, severe pain in one side of the chest when breathing in and following on from a nasty cold/bug thingy.

I won't mention to her that it cold last for a while! :smile:
