Looks like there would have to be at least 2 child sized ones to me.

Yes. I have one, four road bikes in it right now.

You do have to pack them head-to-tail and get the pedals in the right positions to fit them in.

Something plastic doesn't look as secure and to be honest, it looks really quite ugly

Can a bike shed ever be pretty? Pity they don't do a neo classical one or a Tudor style.

Well OK but you could get a brick one built by a bricky for a few hundred squid I reckon. It would look better, be any shape you like, be secure.....

If you can afford one then i would go for it , one of the best ways to secure a bike not in the home i reckon .
I look out on my back garden every morning to check if my current storage is still safe even though its not visible from the road and for what it is as secure as i can make it .
