I wet shave my face every day, electric shave the top of my head every day, and trim my chest hair every few weeks. My back is going to be a problem now, though. I am thinking of having my back waxed to raise some money for a good cause.

When my youngest was tiny, he had a habit of grabbing fistfuls of my chest hair. I made the mistake of shaving my chest shortly before a holiday in Italy, and the itchy stubble (and knowing that it was self-inflicted) was torturous.

When I raced my bike semi-seriously, I’d shave my legs, and I had them waxed a couple of times. The first time I had it done at a beautician’s (they might not bat an eyelid nowadays but I think it was unusual 20+ years ago), and it felt lovely for weeks afterwards. The second time, my now-wife helped me do it in front of my university housemates, to much general hilarity. The only thing worse than smearing the wax on too hot, is trying to smear the wax on too cold…

Full(ish) beard; allowing myself to create my own faux-chin. Generally a no.4 on the shaver's guard on most of it above the jaw line. Cheeks and neckline done with a straight razor; sometimes with bonus points for doing so whilst half-cut and listening to the Doors or Leonard Cohen.

It all usually gets attended to every week or so.

I think everyone has thier own sweet spot; a mate has a magnificent chiselled beard like someone's hung the back end of a duck off his face... I can never get that far without it going horribly wrong. I have friends who can't grow beards at all; others with massive unkemp jobs with unapologetic expanses of neck-beard..

I do generally think that blokes look better with beards as a rule... less-so with long hair but it's my mid-life crisis and I'll cry if I want to..

I shave when the beard feels uncomfortable. This happens earlier in summer when it's hotter. In colder months when it gets itchy. That's only since WFH came in this year. The now rare site visit I shave.

This means the trimmer on a braun shaver. Then when shortish stubble all over I use Harry's shaver with king of shaves gunk after a L'Oréal for men face cleaning wash and not water wet out. The Harry's blades are so much better than the main brands. It'll take one scrape only on each patch of skin. Other shavers I have to do several passes.

At the same time I often sort out the double hairline on my neck.

I had an angiogram St Mary's ,Paddington on Thursday. A young lady set about "tidying up" my pubic hairs beforehand. I had never contemplated "man-scaping" before and I'm pretty disappointed with the look.

Yes, I shave my face with a cheapo Lidl razor.

Before l went to a ‘grade 2 all-over’ haircut, l used to grow a beard from my birthday to daughters (so, essentially all autumn/winter/into spring)

It varied from ‘hedgerow’

Clean shaven. I generally wet shave with DE safety razor and proper soap most days. I have Desperate Dan stubble so it's best to keep on top of it. My ex used to say kissing me saved her having to exfoliate.

I do have a battery shaver I use for camping trips and the like for convenience, and I do sometimes use it at home too if I feel lazy but I find it takes just as long if not longer to get a decent shave with it as it does to lather up and wet shave. I've tried several electric shavers over the years and none have ever been satisfactory for me.

Clean shaven / stubble, because I only shave every other day - always electric, have never had a wet shave.

But I had quite light coloured hair in the past and it's mainly grey now, so it doesn't really show up all that much even if I leave it to a third day when I'm feeling lazy. Any more than that and it gets annoyingly itchy and so I have to bring it back to zero again.
