Apparently when I was about 4 I was very ill on penicillin. Haven't had it since though. Cats make me sneeze, and my arms go itchy and my eyes water. Dogs are fine though.

The hairs of a trantula (sorry about the spelling) - made my hand go all itchy after holding one. And for a period of about 5 years I appeared to be allergic to the oil in oranges... I would get blisters on my hands if I tried to peel them (did wonder if it was a chemical that was used on them). But I seem to have outgrown that one.

I am extremely allergic to things like parafin fumes, and various chemicals that give off vapours.

On a less extreme note, red wine gives me a viscious headache. It has been suggested that is because I do not drink enough of it.

I'm allergic to Non-steroidal anti inflammatories (ibuprofen to you) and to amoxycillin/penicillin variants. It's hardly an instant allergic response but about 1-2 months after I'm exposed to said tablets I get acute kidney failure. Not fun. Needless to say, I never take any 'paracetamol' that people may offer me unless I've seen it in the blister pack as many people lump paracetamol and nurofen together. To clear up my 'allergy' I have to be on high-dose steroids for 6 months or so, which is massively un-fun.

Fabric sticky plasters for me as well. I thought I was weird but obviously not! Also cats, dust and pollen. They turn me into a wheezy, snivelling mess.

Quite a few antibiotics (not penicillin though).
Tomato plants
Cheap jewellery
Pollen
Some face/body creams
Detergents

Suffer from hayfever & asthma so allergies are something you have to live with - it's hereditary.
