Well I have to be honest Im thinking, Im gonna look rubbish with me red water proof jacket and green helmet (nearly put purple but guess its been done lots before) on, when Im riding a blue black and white bike, I cant believe Im thinking this way, Im paying more attention than when I take the wife out ! Ive gathered that white shorts are a bit of a no no !

I don't match my clothing to the bike, but on any ride I go out looking like I'm sponsored by Specialized (Shoes and gloves) and Endura (clothing)... I have shoes, clothing and helmets for every occasion.

Most of my stuff is black, or black with red, black with blue, etc. so it all sort of matches, although the blue won't go with my new bike and the cyclechat jersey definitely clashes - I'll just have to cope I suppose! ;)

LMAO!! Well...I'm still a newbie and in my opinion there's NOTHING anyone can do to make cycling clothes look good (so i just went for the best deals!)

No colours.....no go faster stripes....oh.....hang on....

Maybe it's not the clothes? ;)

Colour matching/coordination is OK, but don't go for ful team strip... that'sjust embarasing (especially if TREK).
Club kit's OK though.

I think my cycle chat jersey and bib shorts are my only pieces of matching kit. In general my short/ bibs are black and go with any top. I tend to go for grey/ black bikes and cloth colour isn't really an issue. I tend to select my clothes on comfort/ fit and price.

Well, thats made me feel a tad better, its just we must have the trendiest cyclists in Britain here in Nottingham, as the ones Ive seen are all kitted out with their winter clobber which is all colour co-ordinated with their bikes, deffo not club riders, so general concencus is that you dont have to co-ordinate clothes colours with bike colours, well that'll probably save a few £'s

A self-confessed tart here!!! I 'had' to change my chainset as the writing on my old ones was yellow (matched my Giant) but my new frame is red/whiet so a new set had to be ordered!! New shoes (same reason) and new tops/shorts/helmet/mitts ande also in the pipeline!

I like to be colour coordinated but I would never wear a full team strip - I still recall blowing by some guy done up in full Miguell Indurain gear (inc. glasses) years ago with a great sense of satisfaction and thinking "What a twot!" - don't want that to happen to me
