Anyone used this? (Halfords Folding Bike Storage Wall Bracket)

Has anyone used halfords folding wall bike stand, all the reviews on halfords seem as its a good buy for £13 or is there more realible wall stand. Its only cause i wanted to put the new bike in the house as it will be more secure.

Do you need a folding one? Plenty of ordinary hooks will do the job more cheaply. Go mooch round B&Q (other DIY stores are available).

These are better, as long as you're fixing it to a solid wall they can hold 2 bikes nose to tail.

Yes , two of them. Does what it says on the tin.

They seem better will look at them tomorrow just need appropiate screws for inside wall

I had one - OK to start with but the tubing on the main shaft is quite flimsy and "flared" against the stop on the wall plate after a while so that it sagged. Thrown out.

I got one, for hanging up in the spare room the light road bike I never use
It is screwed on a large piece of wood that in turn is attached to the wall with the industrial version of no more nails. Link, but you can get it for less elsewhere.
I would not attach it to a wall directly, even if it stays up the wall would soon be marked by the bike.
