Reading this thread with interest, as my better half has constant tinnitus; it can keep her awake at night. She's not aware of anything that can address it.

I have v occasional tinnitus; starts suddenly and loudly, but fades quickly. Seems to be in the region of about 6 - 7 Khz.
Strangely, I can't hear that frequency very well at all in the video posted by @MontyVeda
Edit: I can hear higher frequencies on my phone than on my laptop. Got some earbuds that are so small I can never find them... could try my wife's posh headphones....

I've got it but it doesn't bother me that much. It's an ever-present, not too loud high frequency hiss almost certainly caused by too many youthful hours on the range with a Lee Enfield 0.303. Thirty five years of using noisy power tools probably didn't help either.

It could be a lot worse.

No Tinnitus here but it confirms what my last hearing test video showed, not much over 14,000 Khz but that's just age and going to gigs. Coincidentally the Doc at the 'Pain Management Clinic' wants me to try Lidocaine Infusion but one of the side effects is it can cause Tinnitus so as a music lover and owner of a big HiFi I think I'll give that a miss.

it could be a coincidence but yesterday I drank about half my usual amount of coffee and my tinnitus was relatively quiet all evening. Usually it's at its loudest after 6pm

My tinnitus is always present, but coffee, alcohol and loud noises give me a few hours of a symphony orchestra tuning up with a 747 taking off inside my head.

I'm fortunate that it doesn't worry me - its just part of the landscape.

Yes, in my left ear since my crash in 2018. It takes the form of a constant dull high pitched whistle. Fortunately, with the everyday background noise of the world round us, I hardly notice it, only when It's very quite or when I'm going to sleep. But even then, it's not enough to concern or bother me at the moment.
As I alluded to in another post, I had a hearing test about three months ago, and the hearing in my left ear had deteriorated slightly since 2018, but not by much. However, In a more recent hearing test; another freebie, different coy., the audiologist insisted I needed a hearing aid - !
So until I realise myself that I'm having issues with my left ear hearing perception, I'll carry on regardless - ! ^_^

Same. Suffered really badly after the Madness concert in Llangollen, mainly as we were right at the front. Took a couple of weeks for my tinnitus to return to 'my normal'. I find I can't hear conversations in very loud environments as the tinnitus masks those near me, and I just can't hear over the 'noise'.
