I often found our local plod in our office investigating the contents of the biscuit tin while drinking our coffee and chatting up the girls in the office.

I could top that with some true stories about traffic cops long ago but better keep quiet on that. In my distillery days I dropped of a couple of cases of whisky at our local nick every Christmas.

Spitfire is a great beer. As the advert says, "downed all over Kent...just like the Luftwaffe."
