any good presents?

Someone bought me Heston Blumenthal's book ('just add dry ice...') ... a good read if you have no expectations of recreating the dishes in your own lab kitchen.

I got this book too - I like the thinking of the chef even though I don't cook that much, no meat, fish etc... still interesting.
Did you see the Christmas Dinner prog? Extreme but amazing...just a shame that the consumers were not able to tell us more...

My brother gave my a DVD of 'Withnail & I', which was great but for the fact I've already got it... something he should know as he borrowed it from me a few weeks ago!

That's cool. Borrow a DVD off your brother, wrap it up and give it back to him as his Xmas present.
