I understand the joke and I know it's only a cartoon but as someone who works in the structural steel industry that depiction of a steel frame makes my head want to explode .

It's funny though...

When I did a comedy writing workshop earlier this year one of the first things we were told was that all comedians are liars. The good ones though, start with a kernel of truth (which the WD40 does), and expand on that little truth into a series of lies which become increasingly ridiculous. Of course, if the lies veer into the malicious or downright mean the comedy can be lost, but a lot of that is in the delivery.
