Good morning all.
We're all good to go this morning, however, please be aware we've had to change the course ever so slightly this morning.
This is due to the discovery of a rare breed of snail at the top end of the Trail - the Glutinous Snail.
With this discovery, we're expecting an influx of national press and malacologists as the vicinity has been declared a temporary area of scientific interest.
Spokesperson Flora Pilo from the British Snail Watching Society has thanked local residents and parkrunners alike for their patience for any disruption this has caused - "thank you", she said!
We hope the revised course doesn't inconvenience anyone too much today and we hope the snails are moved on, well in time for next weekend!
Oh, don't forget your barcode and see you all for 9am. 😉
