Would like to buy things off Wiggle, have never used them before. Are they a good on-line shop please?

Yes, they are pretty good (as someone said earlier in the thread).
I have bought a few (small) things from them, not necessarily the cheapest though in my experience

Just an update,

I finally collected my Boardman on Thursday last week, had a couple of gentle rides to work just to get used to it, decided to let it go tonight.

WOW, absolutely love it, used to take me 31mins to do the commute, its now down to 23 minutes, averaged 16.5mph and hit a top speed of 24mph. Having no suspension was a bit of an eye opener, but the ride is brilliant, think the old cycling world has a new member.

Can't wait for the summer now

Thanks again for the advice guys.

Agreed!

I started with a hybrid 5 months ago. I'm now in the market for a road bike.
Thinking of selling the car to pay for it.

Not sure how best to start that conversation with Mrs. S!
