The crazy thing is If the member of staff wasn't completely useless she would have worked out very quickly that ensuring your satisfaction would also of saved her valuable time for the sake of something that would of cost the company very little. Whats the point of being in charge if you cant make a trivial but to you important decision like that in an instant.
The other day I needed some brake cable outer in a hurry on my day off and went to my local halfrauds, half a mile away.
They sell it from a roll by the metre. I was offered an inner cable & outer in a pack, when I said that's not what I asked for I was told "we don't have any" when I told him I could see it behind the desk I was told "its for repair work" when i asked how much did he needed and when was the work going to be done because he had been on his mobile when I interrupted him, he said "eh I don't know" I said, so are you going to sell me a metre or do I have to call for the manager. "He said he didn't have a code to put it trough the till" I pulled out a slip of paper with the 6 digit code and handed it to him.
Game set & match.
Somehow I just knew It wasn't going to be simple and had done my homework.
Boy, they do make the simplest things difficult
