Just back from Milton Keynes. lots of stock of most everything. Picked up a track pump in the hope that it'll get my tyres up to 120psi (unlike my Park Tools one) and a couple of pairs of shorts.

If the track-pump's like last year's you'll be lucky to get it over 60psi.

Picked up 2 computers - a silver one for the wife's bike and a black one for my son (his 3 year old Aldi one either works or doesn't - wires issue). Computer is BAR mount only. That said, it will accept small cycle wheels, without having to do the 'little trick' to get the values in - basically just about any value you can key in now.

Also got some mits for me - OK for commuting.

Yeah, I think the Aldi advertising is a wee bit disingenuous regarding the track pump. Ad says 'Gauge up to 11 bar', which is perfectly true, but the instructions with the pump warn against inflating beyond 7bar/100PSI. Still bought one though, plus a mini pump, shirt and spare tubes, all for £21.

Got a coat and gloves, VERY nice.

Pump Poor Quality TBH

Was that the soft shell ? - they are great for autumn and early spring when thermal kit is way too hot, and regular jersey's are too cold without lots of layers.

Hmmph no men's soft shells left at Old Kent Rd this evening in anything but small. Got two pairs of gloves which seem spot on, a pair of shorts and the computer.

I forgot about this but there was still plenty of stock when I nipped in this evening. Just bought a top and a pair of gloves, pretty happy with both. The gloves look better quality than the recent Lidl ones.

For anyone who is interested, I have just got 110psi into my tyres with the mini pump. Can't be bad for £3.99. It inflates to 80 psi without too much effort and with a bit of effort I got an extra 30 in.

Yup thats the one and at £15 BARGAIN

I agree. It's thinner than the Aldi long sleeve jersey they were selling last year. It's also thinner than an Altura Reflex jersey I have too. Perfect for this time of year, in particular the early morning ride to work.
