silly question but I wonder???? could the sky thermal underwear be worn as normal "tights" with licra shorts on top ? ( a la batman).
Sensible answers only please.

Think I'll be getting a set of the thermal underwear, like you said gavroche no reason can't be worn under the shorts. I already wear bib tights so won't even notice the difference really. The glasses will be on the list and will see what the merino is like, just wish they had long sleeve merino tops.

Last year I got the ski gloves and normal thermal underwear, both were great when the cold really set in.

The gloves especially are really warm and windproof too. Altura night vision waterproof winter gloves were simply not warm enough at zero degrees.

Timely reply for me - I just lost a pair of gloves this morning and I was wondering if they'd do - some mornings all that messing around with locks, lights, gloves is just too complicated. Right by Aldi's, as it happens. Doh!

Jamin 100, I don't know which would be best.. I wear the thermals under a long-sleeved cycle top and Altura cycling legging things. At the moment you'd be better trying the ski top on its own, I would have thought, and packing the mac in case it rains.
