Am torn still, so far its between the Croix De Fer, Camaleonte and the Jake The Snake. Its a lot of money to part with.

On another note my bike from the USA is being delivered on Wed, cant wait (Autum Minion).

Will be making my choice in the next day or so, will keep you updated :-)

Camaleonte has flat bars, which nice as it is I would say should rule it out.

Someone who knows their onions more than me want to comment on the spec? From my limited understanding of such things it appears the Jake The Snake has a better spec:

Croix De Fer is prettier though!

Yes, specs are a goup set above on the Jake and also comes with carbon forks.
On the topic of prittyness, white bikes need cleaning reguarly.

Have you thought about steel framed "tourers" ? Something like a Surly LHT or a Kona Sutra ?

Tend to be aimed at more "all-day" comfort than out and out CX performance, but will handle a moderate rough stuff very ably if you have the right tyres on there.

Thanks for the tips guys, have just place my order, getting it next week. Genesis Croix De Fer but after a recommendation from Ben at Epic cycles am getting Shimano Deore rear gear change and cassette change (sort of like a mountain bikes gearing).

Anyway thanks a lot for the tips, greatly appreciated :-)

Not entirely by coincidence, I recommended a Tricross over another cx bike by PM just a few days ago, because the Tricross has the Deore LX rear mech.
