Ah, yes. That was a mainstay of ATV in the Midlands during Star Soccer" on a Sunday afternoon. The CEO of Davenports was shown at the end of the ad saying, "Cheers".

I remember this radio ad from the Midlands in Wolverhampton and the Black Country:

"There is only one place you should go to buy Renault
We're in Wolverhampton.
On the Bilston Road, we are Renault's own
We are Renault of Wolverhampton.
For Renault spares, Renault cares
Renault of Wolverhampton".
