Sycamores are a bleeding nuisance, the amount that are self set seeding this year is ridiculous, one of the fields at the stable has had to be treated for the first time since the 60's because of the amount, you can't let horses graze as they are poisonous

I thought if the horse had enough grass it ate that instead ?

Very difficult this year there are so many seedlings, currently this year where my daughters horse is they have lost a paddock to it.

Just discovered that SPAM stands for Special Processed Ameridan Meat. Never knew that.

I'm not sure that's definitive.

The Hormel Foods Corporation once said that it means "Shoulder of Pork and Ham", but in some dictionaries "Spam" means "spiced ham

No it means as @Drago had put, they tried to spin the other meaning in an attempt to upmarket it, interesting is that when inflation goes up so does their sales as people appear to cut back.

It's not one I've 'only just' learned, but I did only learn it an age I should have known better.

I was shocked when I saw footage of a tuna in the wild, as I'd never given it a lot of thought, but it must have logged somewhere in my synapses that a tuna would be small...because the tins are.

I've been estimating the size of tuna using Crowdsourcing techniques over the years (I ate them out of tins long before I saw them on telly). The results are nearly always:
Q: "How big are tuna?"
A: "Oh, they're quite big!"

I'm not so sure - most sources seem to say it is SPiced hAM - the acroynym you're defending doesn't show up at all except in online discussion and conjecture, and possibly a UK-derived reverse-engineered acronym.
