I bought it about 18 months ago. It's made by Salter. https://www.robertdyas.co.uk/salter-ek2783-electric-boiled-poached-egg-cooker-430-watts You can poach as well as boil eggs. Just put the required amount of water in,using the little measuring jug,which has a needle on it's bottom to pierce the eggs,then let the contraption boil or poach till the water evaporates then it switches itself off automatically. You just have to remember to avoid the little hole in the lid which lets the boiling steam out. I didn't do when boiling those in the photo and ended up with an annoying red burn.

That's Life used to show things like that, immediately after stories about abused children. Either they were trying to lighten the atmosphere again or it was very bad planning.

Wow. That must be tough, even in paradise. My youngest spent a good part of last year stranded in Morocco, but at least there were a dozen or more people stranded with her. Only one other human bean must be...um...challenging?
