A laptop bought for a fiver in a charity shop. How do I turn the thing on?

My opinion, it’s really not worth the effort unless you like messing with computers for its own sake. I used to, years ago but just don’t have the time now. It’s certainly not worth spending money on. Best case you’ll end up with something that will run but will be marginal to get anything useful done.

That old bit of tat will certainly not help you stand out from the riff-raff!

Twas a joke. I should have put a smiley I suppose :okay:

Ok, I'll let you off!:okay:

But even if it is way outdated, it was only a fiver and it works, so it's there in case my current one conks out.

And I like living in the past. I still play CD's in my car and old scratchy LP records at home.🧐

Dammit. We could've got some mileage out that one 😄

Strictly speaking not simply voice activated but specifically song activated. That particular model starts up with Rawhide:

Cut 'em out, ride 'em in, ride 'em im, cut 'em out, cut 'im out, Ride' em in, Rawhide!
