Reminds me of when I bumped into a guy I had not seen for a while.

He looked quite fit and lean (which he didnt before) so I comment on how well he looks.

He replies 'Thanks mate I have lost 12 stone!'

I look puzzled

He says ' I divorced the wife' :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Well done mate a great achievement!
I don't know about you Banjo but the toughest part for me was not losing the weight but keeping it off.
I clocked in at Weight Watchers Jan 4th 2008 at 17st 7lbs. Stopped going to WW several months later weighing 12st 11lb. I have recently been back to 15st 10lb and today weighed in at 14st 13lb.
The message is: cycling alone will not do it for you, although it helps keep the metabolism up for longer so you do burn more calories even when you are not on the bike. You simply cannot go back to eating whatever it was that got you to your heaviest in the first place. Unfortunately for me, that is Jalfrezi late at night after a few beers!!!!!
