50's Peugeot restoration - virgin

There was a frame/brakes/bars in brizzle that looked good but it's too big :s

There is a gorgeous peugeot in London with chrome forks and stays but it's 225+ any modifications (like a flip flop wheel chain and maybe crank) and really the cupboard is pretty bare.

I shouldn't have any bb/headset issues with modern Peugeot bikes should I?

Scratch that the Peugeot has sold. I ride a 52cm tricross and it feels very compact, so I'm working on wanting a 53-55 cm frame pushing to 56 if it's required.

Is it foolish to look at a 57cm frame in Bristol and a 58cm frame in Plymouth (I love the one in Plymouth)
