Admittedly small fry compared to lots of you good peeps but my longest ever ride and I'm pretty chuffed!

Went from Warrington to Holmes Chapel, Jodrell Bank and back via Chelford. Lovely evening and I'm knackered.

44 miles brilliant well done bet you've got a real sense of satisfaction and don't worry what others have done we've all had to build up our mileage. Trouble is this cycling lark is addictive you will soon want to do 50 then 60 and before you know it you will be doing your first century! Enjoy

44 miles is a good ride. Keep it up and you'll end up a lot fitter!

Well done!

The roads via Peover/ Lower Peover/ Over Peover !!! are great !!!

PS FOR NON LOCALS..... IT IS NOT PEE OVER.... IT IS PEEVER !!!!!

Causes lots of 'issues'............... hee hee

Great riding round there, and we do CC runs that way.

I remember those roads well from the Manchester 100, and yes, I did have a schoolboy giggle at the village names.

I still fancy doing a Cheshire CycleChat century ride some time. If we don't get one in this year, how about doing one in Spring 2012?

Just wondering if you have done any more. Did a slightly shorter route today, took 3 hours, but it does seem a bit easier already. Only my second long journey.

I'm 35 and chronically unfit, too much booze and fags so I feel pretty okay about it. Slightly miffed it wasn't a 50 but I guess that is something to aim for next time :-)

Stu

Hi Stu,

Give up the booze and fags! Well done on the 44, miles, imagine what you could do when you give up tha fags and booze? did you get your leg over (the bike) in Pea-over? Nice one.
