Wouldn't be without one or 2 in my case
I put on my mini pump yesterday when tidying up the bike (got it the day before) - but it keeps dropping off (the pump no the holder) so hoping I have more luck with the bottle holder now! lol I've got a bum bag thing the pump can go in..

They usually come with a little Velcro strap to stop that happening. If not, improvise with a rubber band?

good idea  no no strap with this, I'll have a look at the shop and see if something is missing. I can likely pick up a bit of velcro to do the job.

I've been back into biking for 6 years and did my first 60+ miler last weekend. We stopped at 2 cafes for flapjack or scones and also took diet crisps and belvita breakfast biscuits with 2 bottles of cordial.

Any distance over 15 miles I stow at least a bag of mixed nuts/sultanas/raisins and allow a bottle of juice per 2 hours riding.
Everyone is different but I'd prefer to have it and not eat it than be stuck in deepest Yorkshire Wolds with nowt to scran if peckish !
