The Crown in Blackheath for being under age ( I was 21, arrived in my own car, and was fully booted and suited)
The Plume of Feathers in Greenwich for wearing a leather jacket ( I think they still remembered the mods and rockers fights in the 1960s)
The Harp of Erin in Holloway for being English ( this was in the early 1980s you had to be Irish or commonwealth to get served)
Some pub in Brecon, for not ordering in Welsh

And many more, never for being violent of drunk though

Only ever once got put out of a pub when I was at college. Was playing a game of Snap with a few friends, brought my hand down hard enough to knock over the table, spilled beer, broke four glasses and an ashtray and we got asked to leave. No idea why:wacko:

Oh, just remembered, and a pub in Scarborough - four of us, when we were camping up that way, went in at 6 o'clock for a few pints. We were dressed in jeans, T shirts and leather jackets - as we were camping. At around 8, when others started coming in, we were told the pub had a strict no jeans, no leather jacket policy and we were asked to leave.

Fletchers Arms in Denton M/cr circa 1990. Great year, Madchester and all that going on. England semi final of the World Cup, great summer in Ibiza with the lads. Unfortunately for me they used to have Tennents Extra on draught. I think I used to enjoy it a bit too much in those days. That era was a bit if a blur, I hate to think how much money I spent then back in the day .
Used to live in HG so I know the Fletchers well. Always struck me as a bit poncy. Used to charge an entrance on NYE like it wasn't a pub....it was a "destination"

Fast and Slow - Nelson: for singing during the bingo
The Derby - Nelson: for asking the barman to throw a regular out who was annoying me (6 month ban)
The Bull - Nelson: for decking the landlord who grabbed my shoulder when I was trying to leave a fight my mates had started. (10 year ban, they only ever let me in with my dad after that)
The Hourglass - Nelson: for my mate being sick under a stool during an all day bender
Jimmys - Nelson: passing dud cheques. It’s complicated.
St George’s Club - Nelson: telling one of the committee to go f himself
The Clayton - Nelson: waking the landlord up at 2am to get my jacket back

That’s just Nelson I’ll be back later with Burnley, Colne, Liverpool and London

The Three Tuns, Blackheath Village. If you hadn't been banned thrice you weren't a regular!

The leather bottle in Hemel for having long hair
Judging by the clientele in the beer garden as I drive past, only bald blokes are allowed in there.

Never been chucked out of any pub, but on a student 15s night pub crawl, the locals at one town pub were stood at the door and told us to fark off before we got anywhere near going in. We obliged.

Nope never asked to leave but only started going in for its last couple of years.

Was asked to leave the Hare and Billet for saying the food wasn’t great but the landlord at the time used to ask you to leave for breathing

Setting the controls for the heart of the sun.
In my youth two; The Hare and Hounds at Werneth Low and the Royal Scot Marple Bridge.
The Hare and Hounds used to have odd landlords, who had signs hanging from the ceiling and on the walls of the pub with comments such as "No kissing", or "No holding hands". And they were genuine about it. So a long haired man pretending to be gay was too much for them.
The Royal Scot, for being on periphery of a fight. The new landlord had been looking for excuses to bar the group of us who used to go there. So after the landlord challenged a friend about something minor and got the contents of a pint glass back in his face, the resulting melee saw all our group banned.

I suppose it's posh & hipster now, is it?
It was a bit of a Hippy hangout in the late 60's early 70's!
