Surely all that's going to happen now is the riders in the break will just sit on the back when they get caught? Not sure it is that great a tactic. Tarling has blown though.

As predicted - none of the other 3 really want to work and they aren't really going far. Lots of arm waving by the VLAB trio but why would anyone work with them? Having said that Ineos have dropped off the front of the chase and it has lost all momentum.

I can't work out who Ineos are riding for. Gap went down to 10" now gone back out and crucially VLAB have dropped all their passengers except Powless. Mads has attacked and dragging a group clear.

All regrouped behind, so of course Pedersen attacks once again

The chase group were in touching distance but yet again the pros had a brain meltdown and started messing about rather than just working to complete the job.

Also on today is Paris-Camembert, which has a less than stellar startlist - Guillaume Martin and Remy Cavagna probably the biggest names - and will be won by a Frenchman (this seems historically baked-in to the race)
Apparently the French all stopped for the Livarot, because Belgian Lander Loock of Unibet Tietema Rockets became the first non-Frenchman to win Paris-Camembert since Valverde in 2008.
