It's been reported he crashed inside the last 10km so on the flat somewhere after the 3 timing point as at that point he was still leading on the intermediate timings just ahead of Affini and 3 seconds ahead of Tarling.

Axctually, that does bring a question. If you are U23 TT and/or road race champion, can you wear the stripes in a WT race, or only ones for U23s only?

Awful news from Switzerland where a young Swiss cyclist crashed yesterday and today she died. Just 18. Heartbreaking.

Kopecky is incredible! But also a cracking ride for Dygert and Longo Borghini. Dygert looked in a lot of leg pain at the end! And Puck Pieterse won the U-23, she really is phenomenal!
