£3.96 difference in 105 11 speed cassette and the 105 10 speed. Huge difference?

That's on Wiggle's website. Don't need to look any further to see that's not a reason to have 11 speed!

What were the so called numerous other reasons?

You said to go and price cassettes and chains, like there was a huge price disparity.

Admittedly, my second bit was aimed more at the other posters with respect to other reasons.

No I said go price chains and cassettes

But then I also have more than 1 bike, and maintain two others so stockpile consumables

Yeah, it was me who mentioned the extra cost :banghead:

I like your style nonetheless.

Not exactly. The thread is all about 105 10 speed vs 11 speed and the cost of the kit was said to be more expensive. Therefore, very relevant. :wahhey:

I would imagine when 11 speed is the norm then 10 speed prices will drop .

Only reason I wouldnt have 11 speed yet is I would like to see it in use for a few more years so they iron out any not immediately obvious gremlins that may or may not appear.
