I have Shimano Deore MT60 bear trap pedals from the mid 80s. They're getting a bit noisy, making a roaring noise when spun by hand. I assume they need new BBs and some grease. Will a good bike shop be able to strip and service this type of pedal? They must be good pedals, as there are some on...
My new bike which iv'e been riding since May has a 105 Hydraulic set up. My other bike has SRAM apex.
The 105 levers just seem to be quite noisy/rattling over rough ground. If i go down in the drops and gently press the paddles it does get a bit better... Is this is a fault/set up issue ...
As I no longer wear shirts to work I no longer have a need for these cufflinks.
They were bought from HERE a couple of years ago.
Not sure what they might be worth but they're in excellent condition and hard to find these genuine sterling silver ones these days.
How about £35 including...

I have encountered this twice this year now and both on the right shifter, so on the rear cassette shifting. Firstly on my 6700s and seeing as I had used them for 2 years I decided to get some 6800s. Now I should say both sets I had were second hand off ebay so had seen use before I had them...
Hi, I own a Trek Alpha 1.5 2014 with the speed 10 speed Tiagra. I looking to replace my existing battered Derailleur with a new Tiagra http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-tiagra-rd4700-rear-derailleur-ss/
Is this compatible?
I have for sale a nice and hard to find 50/34 Ultegra sl 6650 10 speed chainset, its 172.5 length, bought to replace a 53/39 but my front mech being braze on wont lower enough. Plent yof life left in the rings and just a few superficial heel rub marks on the arms
Looking for £55 plus post
Sorry for the noob question but what is the basics of changing to SRAM? I got a Vilano Shadow that has STI shifters but the rest is probably the cheapest of Shimano parts. My boyfriend just got me an Avail 2 with Teagra so this would be a second bike. I have seen Sora groupsets for around 350...
shimano ultegra 6500 9 speed shifters, used but still work very well, came off my giant ocr that was still being used regularly till very recent, unfortunately I only have one face plate as that's what came with the bike. Looking for £25 plus postage
Shimano rs10 wheelset with continental duraskin tyres, tubes and shimano skewers, used but in good condition run true and smooth, these are now surplus was holding on to them for a self build project but can't see that happening, looking for £50 ono, ideally collected from Castleford West...
Hi there, I have only been back on a bike for about 4-5 weeks, but one thing I really enjoy doing is improving upgrading parts on my equipment. I use to do it all the time as a teenager in the 90's and I've been doing it to my beloved Impreza P1 for years too.
I ride on a 2012 Cannondale CAAD8...
A bit of a weird one this; I've got two LH only Shimano SPD-SL pedals. Ones an Ultegra 6620 and the other an Ultegra 6800.
Does anyone have a right hand SPD-SL pedal they don't need?
Preferably matching-ish; i.e. R540 for the 6620 and similar for the 6800.
I have recently constructed (with the help of a friend) a road bike with Shimano Di2 Dual Control shifter set (ST -R785, 2 X 11). However having set up the disc brakes, the free stroke distance of the dual control levers is quite some distance before they bite..in fact the bite occurs just...
I have in my shed a scott windriver bike which i think has a faulty rear shifter. The shifter has an up and down lever and whilst the lever for 1>8 works, the 8>1 lever is a bit clicky in that as you operate it, it doesnt often engage so it doesnt do anything. I did take the shifter mech apart...
I've been trying to find a Shimano Tiagra 4600 front hub with 32 holes, but can't find any, although plenty are available with 36 holes. I've tried CRC, Wiggle UK, Evans Cycles, SJS and Rose Bikes, but the same result: only with 36 holes.
Can anyone suggest where to find one of these with 32...
My commuting bike, a GT Bravado currently equipped with a Shimano 8 x 3 speed derailleur need replacement of cassette, chain & middle front ring. I travel about 100 or so miles a week in all weathers to work. Now this is the third cassette, second chainring and third chain in four years. The...
What's the absolute maximum size cassette I can use with a Shimano medium cage gs derailleur?
I do know that with the short cage the maximum spec is a 28t cassette but in reality it will work fine with a 32.
The max your supposed to use with a medium cage is a 32t so will it too take an extra 4...
For sale - a number of items from the bike shed that will lie unused otherwise:

Shimano 105 5800 front derailleur, double. Clamp-on 34.9 mm. Has been used for about 20 miles. £10
Shimano PD-R535 pedals - black - with...
Probably a daft question.
I'm changing my 6800 RD from a short to a medium cage so I can run an 11-32 rear cassette. It llooks like there is some kind of additional part where the cable runs through the adjustment barrel, a "cover with tongue" according to the online manual, never seen this...
Quick one, I have 9 speed tiagra groupset. I am looking to upgrade the crankset that came with it (think its a SRAM touring crankset) with a ultegra 11 speed crankset.
Will this work, or will I need a new front mech etc etc?
Thanks
Selling as i had them put on my new tourer but didn't like them so they were changed after one ride up the road. As they were fitted by the bike shop there is no box.
Selling for £20 + p&p £3.00.
I'm hopefully going to the Wild West Pie day in Bath/Bristol on 11 June 16 if a collection is...
Hello all
Fairly big ride today on my race bike and it turns out my Dura Ace 9000 Cassette has broke
I've had a quick look only and it seems this may be a common problem with these cassettes, it looks like a bolt on the 17-21 section of the cassette has sheared and the middle cog (19) is...
Now that I am really getting into this cycling lark, I feel like treating myself (and spend some of my kids inheritance!) on a Bianchi. What I would really like is a Bianchi in that great Celeste green colour, but it would appear that within my price range I would be looking at one with...
Have Shimano changed the design of their R785 levers recently?
The "lug screw" in this video,

at 1'24", isn't on my lever. The only way I can see to bleed is to undo the silver torx head cap. The problem is that the Shimano funnel...
