Cannot figure out how to get a freehub off to service or replace.
I can get an allen key inside the wheel that is a perfect fit, but what do I do next - do I need to get a tool to grab the freehub,
I think I asked this before about 100 times, so apologies in advance.

I've been cobbling together a bike over the last few months, and it's now almost complete.
It needs some way to change gear though. It's 8 speed, so if anyone has an old 8 speed road mech in their bits box, I'd be interested. I've managed to get hold of a 105 front and Ultegra brakes, so...
Hi,
At the moment I have a full SRAM Force groupset but am looking to get a used Stages powermeter off eBay. There are way more Shimano 105/Ultegra ones for sale than SRAM ones so was just wondering if a Shimano crank will work ok?
Thanks!
May have posted about this before. Loving my Cannondale road bike (Cannondale CAAD8 7 Sora c. 2014) but the one thing I struggle with is braking. Basically, need to start braking quite early on descents to be sure of stopping a road junction. (Don't really have this problem on my Dawes tourer.)...
I bought these boots on eBay a while back not knowing just how neat Shimano shoes are. So they have just sat on the boot rack.
Price, I'm thinking in the region of now around £40. Need to make some cash for more cycling gear.
Ok, before I give up and throw my front pads in the bin and pay through the nose for a new set, is there any way to revive them once they start to squeal?
It's embarrassing and potentially dangerous (if horses were involved)!

Getting rid of some wheels, so here goes,
Shimano Rs11 brand new, £85 or £90 with new set of Shwalbe luganos.
Shimano R501, brand new, £50 or £55 with same set of tyres.
Hoping I can pick a few knowledgeable brains here...
I just bought an old Grisley MTB, in very good cosmetic condition but with gears not working - at £30, I couldn't say no. (Big knobbly tyres are in very good condition, but I'm probably going to replace them with something a bit smoother and...
Hi, looking for some advice on the correct axle length needed for a shimano 600 crankset, 68mm British threaded. According to Sheldon's site 113mm but have read other website forums and different measurements have been mentioned, anyone know for sure?
Many thanks
I have just upgraded my groupset on one of my bikes, to match the 11 speed of the others. So if you fancy a Sora Groupset that has only done 1,100 miles it is yours for £75 pick up in Warwick or £80 delivered.
The groupset is the 3500 range, but with Tektro R312 brake calipers.
The crank...

I've had a couple of forays into clipless pedals, the first one many years ago with SPD pedals that lasted a summer before I went back to clips and straps, more recently with a pair of Time free rides that lasted a few years before I again went back to clips and straps. I was looking at Shimano...

Looking for a 10 speed cranks in good condition for a build. ribble are doing the tiagra 4600 for £45 but wondered if any one had anything better or cheaper before I go ahead?
All my wheels are dead.
If anyone has a useable 700c road wheel with 9 speed Shimano hub (or I can use a 10 speed with a spacer)
Just needs to be relatively true and the hub wobble free.
Anything will do, Shimano, Miche, DT etc
Hi, apologies if any of this is naive, I've done a lot of work on bikes but this is my first bike with STI shifters. My Haynes manual has a section on STI levers but it's quite generic, so not much use.
So I have a knackered Tiagra shifter, and it needs to be removed and sent away for...
All Shimano stuff is 10 speed...Nitto used to make stems and posts for Shimano....all the stuff is in excellent to very good condition.

Hi , well here I am again with another mechanical problem, ! which has probably been covered on here, ...the story goes, that I was merrily cycling to work in the sun last week, and went to change up a gear and found my right hand gear shifter locked solid and unable to change gear, I have had a...
Hi everyone
Im in the middle of upgrading my groupset so i have a few items that you might be interested in.
Shimano 105 10 speed flightdeck shifters - I can sell these individually if needed as they don't match!!!! One lever is silver (Right) and one is black (left) due to a repair but all...
I have Shimano Deore MT60 bear trap pedals from the mid 80s. They're getting a bit noisy, making a roaring noise when spun by hand. I assume they need new BBs and some grease. Will a good bike shop be able to strip and service this type of pedal? They must be good pedals, as there are some on...
My new bike which iv'e been riding since May has a 105 Hydraulic set up. My other bike has SRAM apex.
The 105 levers just seem to be quite noisy/rattling over rough ground. If i go down in the drops and gently press the paddles it does get a bit better... Is this is a fault/set up issue ...
As I no longer wear shirts to work I no longer have a need for these cufflinks.
They were bought from HERE a couple of years ago.
Not sure what they might be worth but they're in excellent condition and hard to find these genuine sterling silver ones these days.
How about £35 including...
