I have 2 5800 series rear mechs for sale, a short cage and a medium cage, they are both in good condition and have only seen light use. The short cage was removed to allow the use of the medium cage which has now been replaced by an ultegra version. The plastic barrel adjuster on the short cage...

Hello there.
I have just changed the EVO386 BB on my bike to cure a click on pedalling.
The bearings still seemed reasonably smooth but there were wear marks on the spindle on both the drive side and non drive side, not much but definitely a shiny mark where the spindle contacts the bearings...
I've listed this as £200 start in an eBay auction but am asking £200 total on here:
A Focus Culebro SL 2.0 TRP in Medium size 54cm with Shimano Ultegra 6700 gears - triple which means 30 gears in total: triple left and 10 speed right. Front and rear derailleurs are Shimano Ultegra 6700.
There...
Lightly used 5800 brakes in silver.
The bodies and pads are excellent - very slight bit of wear to the "shimano" lettering.
There was a bit of corrosion on the cable clamps which has been cleaned and doesn't show when mounted anyway. Also a bit of rust on the recessed nuts (ditto).

*** now sourced **** I'm looking for a Shimano compact 50/34 chainset, with 175mm cranks in silver if anyone has one surplus to requirements.Probably a long shot but you never know
Either new, or excellent condition please as it is for a new build. TIA
Just found out I need a new brake caliper for the commuter bike
Front brake started scraping during a canal towpath ride a couple of days ago and a quick inspection revealed pads were getting a bit worn and the piston on one side was out more than the other. Today I finally got around to...
I still have my old Trek 850 from 1995 or thereabouts and, although I replaced it as my daily commute with a new bike in 2015, I'd like to get some more use out of the old thing as there's nothing wrong with it. The components are all worn silly so they're all going to need replaced, which...
It started making noises a few weeks ago.
I've had it out and greased up all the joints but the issue is inside.
I think 5K is about right??
Or is that a little soon?
My google-fu has deserted me... I'm looking for a crank end bolt for a Shimano Alfine FC-S500 crank. It ISN'T the same as most of the other HT2 cranks which take an M20 end bolt, it's smaller than that... I'm after one in red alloy to match some other red alloy highlights on the bike, which, as...
I have Shimano RS805 calipers on my Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1. The brake pads are L02a which need replacing. Has anyone used alternative brake pads to the L02a or any suggestion where I can source compatible pads. At £15.95 (Wiggle price) for a set Shimano L02a they are taking the proverbial...
Shimano 6700 Ultegra brakes calipers with brand new pads.
Used but in great condition other than the rear one that has rub marks on the underside from where it has rubbed on the mudguard, but these cannot be seen when the brake caliper is fitted to the bike.
£50
Rare chainset - Ultegra Hollowtech II triple with 53/39/30 rings and 170mm crank arms.
Cosmetically very good with no rub and just the normal marks from moderate use.
The rings are used but still have plenty of life in them.

Shimano Sora FD-R3000 still for sale, still brand new with the chainring height guide sticker still on the cage. Bought with the intention of using it for a commuter build, but now surplus to requirements as have switched groupsets to Campagnolo.
This is the new Sora front derailleur that will...
New Shimano Sora R3000 2x9 shifters for sale. Bought brand new from a seller who took it off their brand new bike. I've bought it with the intention of using it for a commuter build but have switched to Campagnolo instead so these shifters are surplus. No use at all from me, so still brand new...
On this morning’s ride, I discovered that my rear shifter wouldn’t change up - the small lever wasn’t “clicking” when pushed to the left.
It would change down OK, but not up - which is why I found myself 10 miles from home, stuck in first gear :-(
After a bit of wiggling the levers around, the...
Hey gang.
Contemplating going a little upmarket from my microshift R8 setup that came with the bike either this summer, or for christmas.
It ticks all the boxes (shiny, better, shimano), but is not that common to find as a groupset(especially with 175mm cranks), is the phobia of triples over...
Ultegra 11spd chainset 172.5 arms and 53/39 rings
Used for short period and then swapped for compact.
A few very very small marks from normal usage and one installation mark on inside of non-drive side crank near the pedal thread. Otherwise as new.
Now on ebay
Perfect working order - had an easy life on a commuter. A few scuffs/signs of use in line with age/use
Or 'chucked in' with any other item I have for sale
So I just picked up a great bike on the second hand market, but want to immediately change the wheels, partly as the ones it has are awful, and partly because I'm 15 stone!
Seen a solid handbuilt set on the local facebook marketplace (32 spoke front and rear. Miche Primato hubs, Pacenti SL23...
I ride with shimano spd sl on my road bike which i had fitted as part of a bike fit.
I'm starting to ride more track and have to use look keo pedals that are on the hire bike.
How does positioning of the two compare, i know the shimano cleat is bigger but i am wondering if i was to draw around...
New Shimano BB-UN53 bottom bracket with 107mm axle, for BSA threaded bottom bracket shell 73mm wide ( as found commonly on MTBs). This has been installed in a frame and fitted with cranks, but found to be too short for the purpose and removed again without ever being used. Note all metal cups on...
Having developed a fluid leak past the piston, I discovered it had a crack through it. Has anybody used the "fine quality" replacement pistons from China (metal).
Loathe to buy a new caliper, if I can get away with it
TIA
