I have a pair on my tourer. Done 4500km and no sign of any wear, nor any nasty UDI (unplanned deflation incidents). Bike is only used for tours and heavily laden at that. 26x2.0 I think

Fitted a set of Marathons to my Marin daily commuting bike to cut down on the number of fairy visits.
Been on for a couple of weeks now and I am aware how much more nervous the bike is when cornering and in the wet especially.
Replaced ageing City jets which never gave me any concerns at...

2000km wear on each (one tour around Iceland). Not had any external punctures. Plenty of life left. Have to sell as moving house.

Through experience, I am extremely reluctant to use levers to put a tyre back on, but after thirty odd minutes trying to use my hands (I have a strong grip), I had to relent. I've heard of these tyres giving other people problems, but this was a first for me. The thought of doing this outside...
Is the Marathon Supreme supposed to be equal to or better than the Marathon Plus in terms of puncture-resistance?
Having used the latter for over 25,000 miles without a puncture, I am rather disappointed to have had three punctures in 1200 miles on the former. These have all been on the rear...
Lost commute/training session today due to yet another snapped valve.
I use a Joe Blow pump.
How do I stop this happening? More expensive tubes or am I doing something wrong?
