Bike's had an annoying little bump once per wheel rev. Inspected the tyres and there's a bit of an indentation on one. Looks like a defect to me but I've no experience with these massive tyres. Thoughts?
Schwalbe Big Apple 60-559
Took these off my Diverge before I sold it, they’ve done 64 miles according to Cyclemeter and as such are as new - no cuts, holes, scuffs etc. They’re the Raceguard version and ride beautifully. I was going to put them on my new Revolt but I’ve decided to go tubeless so going to let these go...
Two Schwalbe Marathon Supreme folding tyres...28 x 2.00.../50-622..Still boxed..I bought these tyres for a bike build that never happened..Asking £30+ p&p..or buyer to collect..Sunderland.
Pair of Schwalbe Thunder Burt Evo Snakeskin tyres, 29” x 2.1”. These are the top end folding tyres with the Snakeskin carcass that are ready to run tubeless. 515g each. I have run these tyres for about 60 miles on tarmac and canal towpath and as such they are like new (see photos). I’ve run them...
I appreciate I may be starting an argument second only to a h*lm*t thread, but here goes...
I've been happily using Schwalbe Marathon Plus and Marathon Plus Tour tyres for nearly a decade. In that time the only real punctures I had was one caused by 'user error' ie me overloading the Xtracycle...
Hi.
As the title says I'm rather disappointed with the second lot of Laguno tyres I've got. There were being used on my winter bike and unlike the first lot (which were very good) these have not lasted long at all. They've still got plenty of tread but they have both failed over the months from...
I'm still trying to get through my clean out of bike stuff, I guess it's never ending with more stuff turning up.
Etrex 30, Bought a couple of years ago. Used for Audax's and two weeks of touring. Never had much use as I only used it if I didn't know where I was going. Minor scratch on the...
I'm running some 700 / 25c Schwalbe Marathon Plus while I wait for delivery on some slicks, they are on some heavy CX wheels and I just cannot get any speed up!
They are heavy tyres, 595 g a wheel, so over a kilo in tyre, as opposed to most other tyres being about 500g a set.
Aside from the...
In June of this year I purchased 2 Schwalbe marathon racers from SJS cycles.
Since then I’ve commuted 15 miles most days on tarmac . I run them at 60psi.
A couple of weeks ago a slight egg appeared in the front tyre side wall. I inspected the tyre but couldn’t see any obvious damage, so I...
RRP £41 each cheapest I can see (CRC £24 each)
Mounted but never ridden as my frame doesn't have clearance for 28s
These are pretty much the benchmark standard for vfm winter, training, commuting, and even light trail tyres...
Hi, I've covered just under 9000 km's through 12 countries on 700x50 Marathon Supreme Evo and I've like them, other than blowing 3 sidewalls.
I've had 2 sets of these tyres and only have one left. I'm returning to Vietnam in a few weeks to continue on, and was thinking about taking 2 more Evo's...
Merlin cycles currently have an offer on these. Just purchased two of these tyres. Free postage on orders of £20, so adding a tube or whatever to the order gets you free postage. Easy to take on & off with plastic levers.
On my Durano raceguards I find that I can invariably get the tyre...
the supremes are nice tyres, light, one of the best rolling resistances in its class, but not much offroad grip, nothing much came close to them before.

Just a chance anybody got a pr of these sat unused , would prefer 26 x 1.75 but would consider offer widths , before i splash out on a pr .
Would prefer new but would consider used .
Might even consider a different brand but would have to have good puncture protection .
As I'm selling the bike using 406 tyres, I don't need the spares anymore. Turn out to be quite a few, all of them new and unsused, carefully stored indoors in dry and dark place.
quick summary: 3 Schwalbe Durano 28-406 (folding tyre), 1 Conto ComfortContract 32-406

New and unused and unfitted.
Spikes could be fitted to the side walls of the tread if desired, as the location points are already in place, but tbh I find these equally effective with only the centre covered.

I am about to replace my Ultremo's on the Cube, and was looking at the Continental GP4000S II, and just wondered if I should consider anything else before I hit the "buy now" button?
The Conti's seem universally popular, and Wiggle are selling them at £28.99 which seems a decent price.
Thanks...
Schwalbe 700c clincher folding tyres, 28mm width - and they are not noticeably undersized in width.
One pair of Ultremo ZX, maybe 300 miles on them. One tyre had a small puncture in the tread which is hard to see. £15 including postage for the pair...
received these today https://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycle-tyres/schwalbe-one-performance-tyre-oem/11432503.html?utm_source=ecrm-dispatch-confirmation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ecrm-dispatch-confirmation&affil=thgemail&ecrmcid=JOYR6M0ED8GAQpnK20ZvqKe9XN5VkbB2&variation=11432505 are they the...
Anyone running on these with any comments. Looking for reasonably light easy rolling with some puncture protection. Also considering the more bomb proof Durano plus.
Currently on Michelin Lithion 2 and averaging a puncture about every 100 kms at the moment and they aren't very old or worn...
As I am thinking of replacing the front tyres on my trike with Schwalbe Big Apple tyre for slightly more comfort at sometime. I will no longer require the spare tyre I have sat in the garage. The tyre is still boxed and folded and whilst the packaging is a little warn the tyre is as delivered...
I have 2x Schwalbe Land cruiser tyres 700x40 and 3x Continental inner tubes (schrader valves) to fit, for sale. All used very little.
£10 for the lot; collection from 10 miles south west of Bath
I could offer postage but the cheapest I can find is using Hermes at £5.95
So many people swear by Schwalbe Marathon Plus, but I use them on my bike and today I had my third puncture this year. After he first one in January, caused by a piece of glass in the front wheel, I fitted a brand new M+ but 6 weeks later I had another puncture, caused again by a piece of glass...
As I'm using my city bike whilst having some work done on my tourer, I decided to get some faster tyres than the 26 x 1.75 Conti Contacts that were on it to speed up my 25 mile commute. Went for 26 x 1.5 Schwalbe City Jets. At 80psi, a decently fast tyre for my purpose. BUT having had three...
Hello, I've got a 2016 Whyte Stirling and was wondering if anybody knows if the rims will take a pair of Schwalbe Big Apple tyres (28x2.00)? I don't think that frame clearance will be an issue but wasnt sure if the rims would take such a large tyre?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
