Hi,
Just looking at mudguards to winterise my CX Team a little. Anyone got an opinion or experience of fitting any of the following -
SKS Raceblade Pro XL - not sure they'll fit the front due to the brake cable routing? Photo below..

Hi all.
I have an old Saracen MTB. I'm wanting to put full length mudguards on it for winter use. However, on close inspection, there are no bolt holes / mounting points front or rear. Wanting some that are relative secure if possible as not really impressed with those seat post ones, it snapped...
I'm away from the bikes atm so no pics but can anyone recomend a decent set of guards that would fit either of these full carbon frames.
The Whyte has an eylet going through the seat stay bridge and the fork bridge and nothing else.
The roubaix has some sort of anchor points near the rear...
Hi all.
I'm looking for a set of black mudguards to fit my old Apollo TdF road bike (fitted with standard 700x23c wheels/tyres).
Got anything suitable?
Does anyone know if these mudguards would fit a Carrera Subway with 26" wheels? Thanks

German company Herkelmann has produced a combined mudguard and pannier rack.
It's not something I've seen before, but presumably is designed for light loads.
Audaxers might like it.

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered before but my search was unsuccessful.
I have a road bike that I would like to fit mudguards to however the bike comes fitted with "aero brakes".
I can see where I would be able to fit the back guard but no visible way of getting the front on.
I have...
I bought Mrs Benb a new bike yesterday - a Boardman MX Sport.
Bargain at 15% off plus another 10% off with my BC membership.
I'd like to fit some mudguards to it.
The rear is no problem; it has a mount on the bridge and the normal eyelets near the dropouts.
The front is an issue though. It has...
What are the best clip on guards for this bike ,it has very little room through the forks and no fork mountings for the guards.
Its the levante with 6061 ali frame and carbon forks
cheers
I've just bought a Genesis Croix de Fer 20. I bought a set of SKS Chromoplastic P50 mudguards for it and have just fitted them. With the front derailleur on the big ring the mech presses on and distorts the mudguard. Before I attack it with a Dremel, does anyone have ideas about how else I can...
I'm trying to fit a set of stronglight mudguards onto my other half carrera hybrid bike but the set didn't come with enough bolts and the ones which are already in the bikes eyelet are too short. Therefore I need to buy some bolts/nuts/washers/screws but I don't know which size to ge.
I would...
Evening all! Tonight I got the bike in the living room and spent an hour installing mudguards to my new bike. The back wasn't too bad, there wasn't much to figure out. At the front though I had to bend the struts around the disc brake calipers; I'm not proud of the quality of this, but it seems...
Some of the group i go out with on a Wednesday say they can't wait till the clocks go forward so they can take the mudguards off their bikes. Why, does it stop raining then till the clocks go back in October? i ask. I've been pulled up for turning up on a bike without mudguards, even...
My commuter bike has one of those topeak-stye rear racks with solid top plate which is designed to serve as a mudguard too. It nearly works but it's not quite long enough to stop spray onto my back. What I need is a very short mudflap which fits onto the reflector mount on the rack and extend...
HI

When I was trying to find out which mudguards would fit onto my CAADX Disc there didn't seem to be all that much information out there. So I thought I'd document my experiences fitting some SKS Chromoplastics.
First of all, these mudguards are excellent quality and contain nearly all of the...
mudguards used to be pretty much at the discretion (or conscience) of the rider on the social club run when i first joined the club. there were training rides that the club captain used to lead where mudguards were compulsory during the winter, but the club run had no such rules.
recently, said...
Thinking of putting mudguards on my 2015 Giant Defy 0 as it is getting very dirty at the moment even after just a 15 mile ride! I have looked at the bike but there doesn't seem to be any mounting points on the stays at the rear so not sure how mudguards could be fitted.
Has anyone fitted any...
For the first time in over 35 years I now own a bike with mudguards:ohmy:.... (unfortunately fitted them to an existing bike not bought an N+1 winter bike......) they are Giant's own specifically for the Defy range and they fitted really easily and look neat (or as neat as mudguards can) in fact...
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone makes custom mud gaurds for road/single speed/fixie bikes?
I've seen the wooden ones and they are beautiful, but what about aluminium ones?
Is anyone expressing their creativity through fender design?
I'm thinking of making some for my long awaited next project...
I need some guards for a Trek Alpha H2 2.5 that has 23mm tyres. From my reading either SKS raceblades or crud road racer could do, although I've read good and bad of both.
I sometimes have to transport the bike on a car roof mounted rack and am wondering how these lightweight guards would fare...
