Avid bb7 cable disc

Got a pair of bb7 cable brakes with 160mm rotors to swap out for hydraulic.
They work ok so not got round to it yet but was wondering if they are worth selling or just put them on the spares shelf..🤔🤔

You'll need to upgrade the shifters too. For the used mech brakes, you might get £50 if in good condition

What are you going on about. They are cable operated disc brakes and have nothing to do with shifters...🤣

Except you mentioned replacing with hydraulics which need hydraulic shifters no? Maybe you have the whole replacement groupset already? No mention whatsoever of cables

Maybe if you had made it clear that your new brakes are cable operated hydraulic and not full hydraulic, it would have helped a long standing member to better understand your post.
PS... from experience of cable operated hydraulics v BB7s, I wouldn't bother changing, just leave your BB7s on the bike. Nothing wrong with them.

Shimano hydraulic shifters.

At what point are you intending to tell us the obvious problem with the above shifters?

Er they don't hydraulically shift?...

Can't say I've ever seen hydraulic shifters .

My post is about swapping cable disc brakes for hydraulic ones . I have not mentioned anything about swapping the shifters.
