Hi, I've done about 4,000k on my current SPD cleats and pedals and they feel very "floaty" now. Like my foot moves around a lot on them. I was going to replace to cleats as they look worn but should I replace the pedals too? How long do they typically last?

Set of m520s i have had a long time , so long in fact that the cleat tension screw on one side is jammed and no amount of soaking or brute force can i adjust it . One side is loose and the other side is at maximum tension so its a fun lottery to guess which side i will be getting .
