I think I'm a lost cause - I realised that I haven't ridden Zwift since last Sunday, so I did a four-minute ride on Repack Rush to keep my streak alive!![]()
I lost my 64 week streak after a week off due to illness

I think there are 'streak savers' now?Don't know what I'm going to do when I go on holiday in August...
Jo's in India for a week, and has taken her running kit so she can smash out training sessions in the hotels' gyms!
@Norry1
How did you do in the race today?
Anyone else finding that the smaller fields and I assume the odd person soft pedalling to lower their score that they are winding up with a racing score welllll above their level of abilities. Creating real pain for me the next time I enter a proper race

Reasonably well cheers @Randyberlin This was my first race of the season and it was a needed shock to the system. It was on the Bovington Army Camp All weather driving Circuit which is about 4 miles long - 10 laps. This was british Masters race, so I am now in the final year of my age category (E 60-64) and a new cadre of "young" 60 year olds join. We were also racing alongside the D Cat who are 5 years younger.
The circuit was pretty good but was concrete with regular expansion joints (think M6 north of Birmingham, crossed with Paris Roubaix) and was quite dusty/gritty but otherwise quite grippy. It had 3 or 4 short but punchy (10%) climbs and a longer drag to the finish.
It was a fast and attritional race. A group of 3 got away but we caught them with one lap to go. I did my fastest lap on the 10th and final lap and was in the lead group but had nothing left for a sprint. I came 6th in my category (of 30) which gives me points in the "Stallard" Competition.
Pretty pleased with my performance with all the high quality in the field.
I was not surprised to see I spent 21% of my time in Anaerobic or Neuromuscular Zones.

Hopefully some pics will emerge at some point.
Hmm, I'm on 27 weeks and it's showing me I have two. So I think you get one after reaching 12 weeks and then another one after a further 12?That would have been real handy for keeping my consistency tally 😬
At least they have something now. Is it just 2 weeks only or do you get another block after a further 12 weeks?

I think it's these two lifebuoys next to the number:

Honestly, who gives a monkeys about how long another rider's streak is?
Who thinks developing a streak saver is a good use of Zwift programming time right now?
Zwift racing needs a complete overhaul, from limitting athlete weight/height changes; neutralized virtual equipment performance to scrapping this pathetic Racing Score and replacing it with a vELO system.
The bonus XP currently only makes a real difference if you are under level 41 and don't have the best virtual equipment for races.
As for only allowing outdoor rides count from Garmin and Wahoo, to give XP, what the heck?![]()
