50kms towards the sl8 first upgrade. Have to admit it is quite motivating, and fair play to zwift for getting people talking, hopefully doesn't get too complicated.

Wonder if anyone has done an upgrade yet. @Norry1 @Peter Salt would normally be high mileage riders but maybe outside at the minute and a few others injured. @Legs @alex_cycles @bridgy ?

I've started on the Spesh Allez - cheap bike and easier to upgrade
As you say, a new motivation. I'm glad they've brough this in, feels like chasing the Tron again :wahhey:

25km left to go on SL8 first 200km. Hope to get that done before DRS on Weds.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Yes, agreed…. Sounds like my planning for exam revision. I spent more time planning than in the actual swotting 🤣
There is a pattern here... I spent 95% of my final year at university working on my project, which was only 25% of the marks, and just 3 weeks revising!

I devised a computer puzzle game about 20 years ago, wrote a prototype 15 years ago, wrote a better prototype 10 years ago, ported it to Android pre-Covid, so 5+ years ago, and... am still fiddling with it rather than sticking it on the Play Store!

It was too nice earlier to be riding on a turbo trainer so I hit the road. This evening is free though***... so maybe tonight's the night?

*** And having typed that, I just got my latest Royal Mail delivery ever - 6 pm. I have been waiting a week for a bearing puller and some bearings and they have finally arrived. I couldn't wait to try the puller out (in my case, a 'pusher' since I was tapping the tool rather than pulling it) so that was a distraction... It worked really well. I promise that I won't put new bearings in until tomorrow though!

Lots of people gaming the system in various ways to get upgrades, depressingly predictable. Mainly people starting at top of alpe but at least this guy is legit

I'm not on Zwift at the moment. I'm mainly riding outside, and when I'm inside I'm using TPV.
