Would love to do it all again this evening but I won’t be home in time tonight my job seems to be really getting in the way of my zwifting at the momentWho is doing Stage 2 of NY later? I see @Breedon is signed up to the 18:00 race. I was planning to do the 4 or 5 race but if everyone else doing 6 too I'll jump on that one as well.
You need to go part time like me (although not for the same circumstances!).Would love to do it all again this evening but I won’t be home in time tonight my job seems to be really getting in the way of my zwifting at the moment![]()
Well, Andy I see my evening going something like this:
- dismantle and put away the Bkool
- vacuum the area to remove recent build up of worn tyre rubber
- unbox, set up and position the Neo
- search for toolbox with the cassette removal tool and chainwhip
- once found, watch a video on youtube showing how to easily remove the cassette from wheel (done it before, but a while ago and don't want any cock-ups!)
- realise the youtube video made it look much easier than it actually is, and mine seems to be welded on. Swear a lot nearly give up, but eventually remove cassette (hopefully without too much damage or injury)
- fit cassette to Neo (not much that can go wrong here surely...)
- fit bike to Neo, probably realising in the process that the different footprint of the Neo means I have to re-arrange where my bike - and everything else - goes in the room
- re-arrange room
- Switch Neo on, switch Zwift on
- do some kind of calibration thing I haven't really looked into at all yet (although I have downloaded the app that Bob suggested)
- turn laptop off and on again because I can't get the neo to connect properly
- we have lift off
If I have any energy - or any evening left - after that I will probably then have a little pootle around on Zwift! But as you say, I'm sure all the above will only take me 15 minutes so that should be fine![]()
Noooooo, just a pootle around Central ParkIs 6 a race ?
Just signed up6pm for me tonight.
It’s a short blast of a race with no lead in.
