you should have said you were heading up that way - i would have gone up and met you
warm day to tackle rutland

Yes I'd forgotten you're just south of Rutland. Next time, everyone was in favour to do a bigger club run in a regular basis. So we will be back to cafe Ventoux :okay:

It was lovely this morning but dammed hot in the pm. :heat:

QUOTE="TurboTommy, post: 4873452, member: 46579"]I'm leaning slightly to the element too. Or maybe get the bolt but split info between 2 pages but that could be annoying.

I think I need to hold them both in my hand before I choose. Are you revving up to getting one soon Bob?[/QUOTE]

I am. Probably the bolt. I only need map, HR/Power and speed so 2 pages should be fine, 3 at a push.
Deal breaker for me is audio turn by turn via ride with gps. It worked fantastically on phone while away- more so than friends use of Garmin. So I am checking it all works first. An audio indication followed by a quick glance at led's should be sufficient- aided by map as well.
Wiggle selling them at 180 with 10% discount applied too.

The problem I've found with turn by turn on garmin is that it losses signal and then your a bit sunk! Hopefully it's better on the element. The mapping looks good generally as does the general set up process. Although I'd have to manual upload data to the app i use for power readings apparently so that could be a bore. And I don't think you can use turn by turn directions on Strava created routes for some reason.

Have to say I'm very tempted... just for a change as much as anything. My garmin 520's got a scratch on the screen but I'm thinking if I could get £100 plus for it then...

£50 trade in via wahoo website?

We got sooo fed up with mates garmin 520 slowing us down while away as it slowed down and presumably searched for a signal. It just kept beeping away- frigging irritating!

Na it's definitely worth more than that. Cheers though.

Just checked and I can get one from wiggle for £166. If you want one I'll order through my account.

Wow, that's cheap. Yes please Tommy.

To be honest I don't know how they work it out. I bought a groupset from wiggle last year but nothing that extravagant since. So maybe it's done on a yearly basis.
>£500 is platinum and 12% discount, >£400 is gold and 10%, >£250 is silver and 5% on a last 12 months basis iirc. If that makes sense.
