As my fiancee had to work this saturday I went for a epic badge hunt , ie 100 miles and the PRL full. Well my fiancee threw a spanner in the works by snoring a lot last night so not the best nights sleep. Still too good a opportunity to miss so went for it. After 60 miles started to teeter on the edge of cramps so got off a few times to walk it off. Also after 60 miles my body did not want solid fuel and it made me feel a bit sick so stuck to ice cold drinks and sweet coffee. Had a bit of banter with 3 other fellow Full PRL punters. Finished 107 miles in 6 hrs 34 despite stopping several times to stretch out and make 3 coffees. I wont have to do it ever again so badges ticked off.

I feel your pain. Mrs B snores and, worried about being a mouth breather, has bought into that tape your mouth up to force yourself to breathe through your nose at night. So, a delightful mix of snoring and a noise akin to holding your tongue against slightly open lips. As Steve suggests ear plugs are the only way i get to sleep. Although an ear plug does tend to emphasise my tinnitus :B)

That's a great effort. It's in my plan for this year, but not fit enough just yet. Need a few months more before I can attempt that beast!

Hey @Norry1 got a few extra bucks I can borrow?
Congratulations on your race. And a top 10 out of 4500 on that climb segment to add some icing on the cake.

Thanks Randy. Very tough in the wind.

Always nice to win a few bob

Currently only got four riders lined up for tomorrow's Splitters ride. I know the D's are going to be attempting to get a team together for the Zwift Finals meaning they probably aren't available, but I was hoping that we might get a few more signed up here.

I'm so low on power currently, that I would fit nicely in D. Signed up!

I think I'm signed up, although it's not showing on ZwiftPower (but maybe that only shows Zwift app races?).

My fibre broadband will finally be installed tomorrow so I should have super fast broadband at last. I'm hoping it helps me ride faster too, or at least lets me see everyone else in the race and not be on my own

Just got back from Peak District. Family weekend away for my b'day present.

Some lovely family ride outs, Yesterday's culminating in a 32 mile round trip in 30+ mph winds followed by downpours .

Will sign up tonight

Met a guy yesterday, whilst we were sheltering from the rain, he was riding up from London to Cumbria, as a training ride. He was from San Diego, preparing for his Mexico to Canada, self supported, free camping trip MTB event. 2000 miles :okay:
